Sheffield United have bolstered the off-the-field team with four individuals who are well-known and respected within the South Yorkshire business community.
Graham Moore, Martin Green, Darren Baker and Mark Ross have happily accepted positions of vice-presidents and will support the owner, board of directors and senior management team in raising the club's profile locally, nationally and internationally in line with the great work achieved on the pitch.
Chief executive, Stephen Bettis, commented: "Engaging vice-presidents to promote all areas of the club is a model we have used successfully, previously, and we are confident that Graham, Martin, Darren and Mark will do so again. All four are Blades fans, are respected within their specialist fields locally and will offer invaluable support and advice with regards to sponsorship and off-the-field events.
"The success of Sheffield United is a result of contributions from many, many people within the club. The contributions of the vice presidents have undoubtedly been a key factor and hopefully they can assist once again in propelling the club to even greater heights."
Graham is best known for his role as chairman of Westfield Health in Sheffield, whilst Martin heads up entertainments company, Redtooth. Darren is a managing director of JB Doors and chairman of the Sheffield United Community Foundation and Mark is Managing Director of the local property business, Redbrik and the PR and marketing firm, hrm.
