Monday 25th November saw Sheffield United open its inaugural Meadowhall store.
The announcement of the store opening which featured a meet and greet with manager Chris Wilder, Lys Mousset, George Baldock and Billy Sharp was announced across club channels on Friday. The club's greatest ever player, Tony Currie, was also on hand to meet fans.
The launch followed an enthralling 3-3 draw against Manchester United the night before and saw over 600 fans turn out to see club captain Sharp cut the ribbon.
United's head of marketing, Emma Kirk, said "We were delighted with the turn out for the new store opening, it just goes to show the level of positivity surrounding the club at the moment.
"The retail team have worked tirelessly to get the store ready in time and we were pleased that Chris and the players gave their time to support the event."
This is the club's first venture into Meadowhall following promotion to the Premier League. It is hoped the new store will offer supporters across the region more access to a wide range of Sheffield United merchandise.
The new store also features a host of new products including the new 10Collection, a range of t-shirts and hoodies dedicated to iconic number 10 players Billy Sharp, Tony Currie and Brian Deane.
The new Sheffield United Meadowhall store will follow the extended Christmas trading hours. These can be viewed on the Meadowhall website.
