Simon Moore is 'delighted' that the Blades are back in the top-flight of English football, for the first time since 2006.
Speaking from the Open Top Bus parade to the Town Hall on Tuesday evening, the experienced stopper remarked: "It's been unbelievable. When I joined three years ago I knew Sheffield United were a big club, but I didn't realise how big.
"The support we get home and away shows how big a club this is and finally it's back to where it belongs, it's a great time to be a Blade.
"George Long was fantastic with me, when he wasn't playing and Deano (Henderson) is a fantastic goalkeeper, he's done brilliantly and I'm always there to help.
Moore added: "It's in the best interest of the club, I've not played much, but I'm delighted for everyone involved and pleased to have played a part in this.
"Sometimes I sit and just think about what has happened, this is a sleeping giant and it has just taken someone to come in and get it right, the Gaffer has and he deserve a lot of praise."
