Billy Sharp says United will go to Elland Road on Saturday full of confidence following Tuesday's success over Brentford.
The skipper feels the victory over the Bees was the best of the season to date, a statement he hopes to repeat on Saturday afternoon.
He commented: "The win in midweek was the win of the season for me given the circumstances.
"It was against a team you don't want to have ten-men against. They had a lot of possession, but that doesn't score you goals and keep them out at the other end.
"We managed to do both and it earnt us a fantastic three points and it's set us up nicely for this weekend.
"I'm sure Jack (O'Connell) and John (Egan) would have had headache after the game and Hendo was brilliant again, they enjoy keeping clean sheets like us strikers enjoy scoring goals, as a group we're grinding results out."
Looking ahead, Sharp added: "My Dad will have a stat for me on Friday night, he's not told me yet though, but this is a game me and the boys are looking forward to and one you want to be involved in.
"It's the biggest game of the season no doubt, but we said the same about Brentford on Tuesday night, hopefully we're saying that throughout the run-in."
