Richard Stearman believes it is a great decision by the club's management to get the players away for warm weather training.
United's squad have been in Spain this week ahead of the international break.
The experienced defender commented: "It is important to reset the mind and the body and get the lads ready for the remainder of the season. It has been a thoroughly enjoyable week, it's been far from a jolly up, we've socialised together but the boys have put in the miles as well."
On the form which has seen the Blades rise to second in the SkyBet Championship, Stearman added: "The boys are great at the moment and I'm happy to chip in as and when needed. The full squad will be needed to achieve in this league and I'd like to think my role is not just on the pitch, it's in the dressing room and from the bench too."
