Chris Wilder is predicting an entertaining Sheffield derby on Monday night, with the Blades boss believing Wednesday will be going all out for the victory, just like his side will.
Looking ahead, Wilder remarked: "It hasn't changed since I was a boy, a player and now a manager, it's a fantastic occasion.
"There have been some different opinions from previous Wednesday managers, Carlos (Carvalhal) said it was just a game, which I didn't get.
"And Jos Luhukay said he'd been involved in bigger, which I didn't get even more, but Steve (Bruce) has hit the nail on the head, being the man he is."
On his opposite number and what he expects to face at S6, Wilder added: "He's been brought up in the north-east, he's been involved in the Manchester derby, a so called derby in United versus Liverpool.
"So he gets it, I do, our supporters do as do theirs and importantly our players do so it's great to be involved in it. Both sets of supporters want to see their team go hell for leather and we won't change our attitude.
"Wednesday fans want to see their see team attack and under Steve they will, we will get pushed back at times and we'll try and do that to them.
"On Monday night, both teams will be going out for a win for their respective causes. Steve doesn't get the promotions he's won and enjoy the success he's had by sitting back and they've an enormous amount of talent within that group and a manager who I think will harness them to future success."
