Chris Wilder says it's no fluke that the Blades enter the final ten games of the Sky Bet Championship campaign with a fully fit squad to select from.

Speaking on Monday, the Blades boss remarked: "We're fit and healthy and looking forward to Brentford on Tuesday night.

"I've spoken about it before, there is an incredible amount of hard work that goes on behind the scenes from the staff through conditioning and a bit of planning.

"Most importantly the graft comes from the players in terms of the professionalism, desire and drive to remain in top condition for a frantic and hopefully exciting end to the season.

"It's difficult to leave players out, but you have to be bold. People will be surprised in some of our selections, but we always pick a team for the right reasons for any given fixture."

Wilder added: "Every manager will tell you they'd rather be in that position than situations we had last season when we were scratching rounds for options if certain players came out of the team.

"We've got competition right the way through now, the players are champing at the bit to play in the big games and want to take opportunities with both hands.

"I will continue to utilise the squad and try and pick the right team for that particular game. I'll always walk out into the stadium hoping I have, we believe in what we are doing and it's served us well."
