Chris Basham believes United's draw at Villa Park was a turning point in the season.
Speaking after his winning goal at Elland Road on Saturday, the versatile performer, says the lessons learnt from losing a three-goal advantage have been a driving force in a sequence of results that see the Blades sitting second during the current international break.
Basham remarked: "We've just got to keep plugging away, keep winning our games, our form is still going to be crucial, but the last few away games we've come through some really tough challenges too.
"After Aston Villa we had a long video session with the Gaffer, focusing only on the last 10 minutes. He dug some people out and I was one of them, he was asking what we were doing certain things for and since then we've not looked back.
"It was something we've learnt from, the best video analysis of his reign and we're reaping the rewards now."
He added: "The Brentford win took a lot of everyone, so to go again in an early kick-off at Leeds was brilliant.
"Deano believes he won't concede goals, he's a confident boy and the ones in front of him are all part of it.
"We're coming up with big tackles and blocks. Everyone is mucking in for each other and now we must rest and get ready to go again."
