Social Media Policy

1 January 2019

Sheffield United is proud to be a fully inclusive and family football club and welcome constructive debate and feedback on all things relative to the club on numerous platforms, including social media.

We monitor social media and, on occasion, have noticed that some posts cross the line of what is deemed morally decent. As such we will not tolerate our good name being tarnished. Action has been taken in these instances. For the avoidance of doubt, these could include, but are not limited to, comments of a distasteful nature, racial or discriminatory in any way.

While all supporters who post on social media forums are responsible for their own actions, it should also be noted that breaching this policy can lead to personal sanctions issued by Sheffield United.

Supporters wishing to report any social media posts which could be deemed offensive can forward any details to for our consideration. We thanks Blades fans for their co-operation.
