Chris Wilder is under no illusions about the challenge the Blades will face at Bramall Lane at the weekend.
United's first win of the season came against QPR at Loftus Road back in August, but Steve McClaren's side have claimed the table in eye-catching style in recent months and arrive in South Yorkshire looking to make further ground on the top six.
The Blades boss commented: "They brought a couple of players in which surprised me because of the transfer embargo people were talking about, but to be fair since then they've done great.
"They've got some really talented players at the top of the pitch, they're in a routine with a settled side and they've got a good blend of youth and experience.
"They're always strong at home, but their away record is impressive. They've won at Forest, drawn at Villa and were narrowly beaten at Leeds.
"I'm sure they will fancy their chances during the second-half of the season of putting a run of results together under an experienced manager and be right amongst it."
On his own side, Wilder added: "We should be nowhere near where we are, so let's keep enjoying it as a football club, the expectation level has continued to keep going up and we've got to handle the pressure of winning games, particularly at home.
"It's all to play for, I've said before plenty of clubs would swap places with us in a heartbeat."
