Kieran Dowell says he has come to Sheffield United with a clear aim, and the England U21 international is fully focused on the challenge ahead in South Yorkshire.
He remarked: "I know what the goal is for the club this season, obviously it's promotion. Hopefully we can go up automatic, but if not then the play-offs, it's certainly a challenge I'm looking forward to.
"I know it's a really big club, it's been out of the Premier League for over ten years now, my aim is to help them get back there this year."
Dowell added: "I've spoken with the Gaffer and he wants options, whether that's me or Mark Duffy as the ten or possibly both of us together.
"I've just got to play well when I get in the team. I know I've got to produce, I've missed the pressure of winning and the competitiveness of the division."
