Chris Wilder views Saturday's Sky Bet Championship encounter against Reading as a dangerous game.
Both the Blades and Reading won in midweek with Saturday's visitors also looking to steer away from the relegation zone.
Boss Wilder is full of praise for the Berkshire outfit, commenting: "Reading have very good technical players, they have kept a lot of the squad that was one penalty from the Premier League a couple of years ago. They had a difficult season last year and have changed their manager this, but they are a solid football club.
"It is a dangerous game from our point of view, they are talented and, obviously, have had a lift in performances and results since the new manager has come in.
"But we have the chance to round off a fairly good week and we don't want to take a backwards step. We want to be positive and produce front foot performances which gets fans off their seats.
"We have to use the fans to our advantage, Bramall Lane can be hostile and it pushes teams back mentally - we have to use that but first and foremost we have to produce good performances and win matches."
