Ollie Norwood is backing the Blades to respond positively to Friday's disappointments at Villa Park, when Middlesbrough provide the opposition at Bramall Lane on Wednesday.
Looking ahead, the influential midfielder commented: "There won't be many teams go to Villa Park and dominate in the fashion we did. The crowd was around 35,000, but after 80 minutes it was significantly less.
"They missed the entertaining bit from a Villa perspective, for us it was a complete performance for 80 minutes and obviously the last 10 minutes were the complete opposition.
"We've already proved ourselves at times this season, that's why we are third in the league and three points off second."
Norwood added: "We were disappointed but that has been put to bed now and for us Wednesday night can't come quick enough.
"It'll be good to get back out on the grass at Bramall Lane and hopefully we're ready to go again and release some frustration.
"We're honest every day, if something isn't right or going well someone will say. The Gaffer and Billy (Sharp) manage that excellently, Sharpy takes charge of the dressing room and so does the manager.
"We just spoke honestly after the Villa game, we just need to see the game out and we are all experienced enough to be managing that game better."
