Mark Duffy is predicting another entertaining clash against Aston Villa, when the sides meet at Villa Park on Friday evening.

United won the corresponding fixture 4-1 at Bramall Lane in September and Duffy hopes United can replicate elements of that performance.

The influential midfielder remarked: "It was a good performance, we went about our business and we always do, we got on the front foot and attacked.

"We scored four goals that day and it was a good day all round really. It gave us the confidence to go on really. Villa are an excellent team and one of the big spenders in the division.

"We've had some good games against them before, the 2-2 at Villa Park was a mad start, but we showed good character to comeback into the game and we could have nicked.

"Friday will be no different, it'll be a good game and hopefully we can get those important points."

Duffy added: "They've changed manager, both will have brought players in and I suppose they're having to adapted to different styles of play.

"They've got some great players and they could be a tough game for anyone, there are 16 games to go and they could certainly mount a challenge for the play-offs.

"I wouldn't be surprised if Villa went on a long winning spree, but hopefully that won't start on Friday night."
