Chris Wilder has warned the Blades mustn't take anything for granted when they host Bolton Wanderers on Saturday.
Speaking ahead of the clash against the Trotters, who will arrive in South Yorkshire in the relegation zone, Wilder insists the challenge posed by Phil Parkinson's side will be as tough as they test United faced at Carrow Road last week.
The Gaffer commented: "They got off to a flying start, they had some great results at the start of the season, but obviously there is an off the field distraction that doesn't help.
"They are having a tough times at the moment, but knowing the management and the ones who back him up they will be desperate to get themselves going and they are still in touch.
"They will be looking to do what they did last year, not just at Bramall Lane, but in general they will want to stay in the division and we respect what Bolton are about."
Wilder added: "For us, it's good going to Norwich and putting on a display, so a lot of good characteristics to challenge at the top end, but we need to make sure we do the basics rights on Saturday and patience will be required.
"We're comfortable away from home, but we've got three from the next four at home and we must really try and nail those and get maximum points, starting with Bolton."
