Wilder on Norwich VAR calls

Chris Wilder says he was disappointed with how the Norwich City players reacted following Chris Basham's challenge on Kenny McLean at Sunday.

The Blades defender was given a straight red by referee Simon Hooper, before VAR reviewed the tackle and downgraded it to a yellow, much to the relief of Wilder, who had some sympathy with the referee.

That decision went in United's favour, but the Blades boss felt his side should have had a second-half penalty shortly after taking the lead when Onel Hernandez barged through the back of Basham in the penalty area, but despite another lengthy VAR review, the initial decision wasn't corrected.

Even with Chris Basham's red card rescinded by VAR, the Blades boss doesn't think the balance is right for the tiny percentages gained.
