Chris Wilder says to have won two promotion in three seasons caps an 'incredible' turnaround in the Blades fortunes.
United had finished mid-table in League One shortly before Wilder walked through the door and he is adamant it's been a United effort in the time that has elapsed since.
He remarked: "The speed of the turnaround is incredible. When we joined, everyone was talking about the Scunthorpe United game and the lap of shame.
"So everyone will understand the enormous amount of work that has gone into turning it round and getting moving in the right direction.
"I'm always the one at the front and the figurehead of the club in terms of football, but there are a lot of people deserve a load of credit, that work tirelessly away from the lights."
The manager added: "I've had a 1,000 texts which I will reply too and I once celebrated victory before the final whistle with a pal and he said make sure you get it over the line.
"Since then I have done, so over the weekend we had to make sure we sealed the deal and we were all together when we did, which epitomises what we're about.
"The Player of the Year celebrations were something special, as was John Egan's song at the end, which again just sums us up."
