Chris Wilder has warned nothing will be given to the Blades in the coming weeks, as United continue to chase automatic promotion.
Speaking ahead of the Easter Monday fixture at the KCOM Stadium, Wilder is adamant all three teams United will face between now and the end of the season will be out to beat his side.
He remarked: "It'll be another tough game. People will look at our fixtures and say 'win, win, win', but Hull City have had a fantastic run in recent weeks.
"There is the added spice of facing a former manager, it'll will come into it, but Nigel (Adkins) and his players will want to win the game regardless and that's how it is.
"People would be naïve to think some teams have nothing to play for at this stage, these careers haven't just been given, these players have had to work hard to work there way up to play at this level and in the Premier League."
Wilder added: "These players will have personal pride, just the ones did at Birmingham City who beat Leeds, the Millwall players that don't want to drop out of the Championship and were unfortunate not to beat Leeds.
"Nothing will be given us, it hasn't been all season, it was against Forest and it won't be in the next three games."
