Chris Wilder is demanding one big final effort from all connected with the club, ahead of Saturday's clash against Ipswich Town.

Looking ahead, the manager remarked: "We'll just keep rolling on, we needed a big weekend of football and you can't get away from the fact that the results have been a boost to us.

"We're delighted to win in the manner we did at Hull. It's on to Saturday now, we can't afford to cut any corners and we won't, we're in a fantastic position."

United's victory at the KCOM Stadium saw them record a 20th clean sheet in the league this term and Wilder insists like everything else, it's been a real team effort.

He added: "The boys are proud of our defensive record and we've got a goalkeeper who makes saves when he is needed.

"It's a team effort, from set plays, to getting a shape, to being difficult to break down and then when we go forward it's about trying to score.

"We've had to tick a lot of boxes to win this many games at Championship, with and without the ball and I couldn't ask for anyone more from the players."
