Dean Henderson believes his move to the Blades has furthered his international development.
The Manchester United loanee has started all nine games in the Sky Bet Championship to date and impressed whilst with England's U21s recently, playing 90 minutes in games against the Netherlands and Latvia.
The stopper remarked: "It's great to play for your country and it's a massive confidence boost for you as an individual.
"Some players find it difficult going away, some really enjoy it, but for me it's my dream to play for my country and I have one more team to go now."
Henderson added: "Playing at such a big club like Sheffield United gives you a platform to build on and it's been excellent here since day one.
"It's a credit to the manager for giving me this opportunity, then I've gone and backed it up with my performances, I want to make the number one shirt my own, for club and country.
"When the fans get behind us and sign loud and proud we should win more games than we lose at Bramall Lane and that should enable us to have a fantastic season."
