Billy Sharp was understandably delighted to net his first hat-trick since August 2008 at the weekend.
But it was Saturday's three points over Wigan Athletic that meant more to the Blades skipper.
He remarked: "The main thing was the three points after not getting them in midweek, we weren't happy with the performance, but delighted with the win.
"On Monday morning, that's what we will look at, back at the top despite not being at our best and the Gaffer will know that too.
"We've set the standards high, we weren't quite at it in spells, but we did enough to win the game.
Sharp added: "I'm delighted, it's the first one since I was 20 against QPR.
"There was some great play from the lads and I was just in the right place at the right time, credit to them.
"We were playing OK when they scored, so to get back in front before half-time was important and we lifted it second-half."
