David McGoldrick felt United's character and composure was key to Saturday's win at Millwall.

The in-form marksman remarked: "We knew what was coming from Millwall, they've got their way and we dealt with it well in the first-half, we limited them.

"Start of the second-half we had a crazy five minutes and found ourselves behind, we did the same against Preston, so we've got to cut it out.

"But what fantastic character we showed to comeback and win the game, both in my opinion were certain penalties and I was delighted to tuck way the second.

"We could have gone gung-ho at 2-2 to try and win the game, but we just remained patient and our quality showed in the end."

Looking ahead, McGoldrick added: "I don't really look at the table yet, teams start well and fade, I don't think that will be us, but it's where we are at the end of the season.

"I'm loving my time here, I backed myself to prove my ability and I'm doing that at the moment, but I know I've got to keep scoring to keep my place."
