Paul Coutts made his Bramall Lane return on Saturday and was involved in the narrow victory over Hull City.
The midfielder was introduced before David McGoldrick netted the vital penalty in the second half. It was Paul's second substitute appearance in the week after battling back from a broken leg last November.
"Three more points on the back of a hectic week is brilliant," said the popular Scot. "We're happy that we've finished it off well (after the wins at Millwall and Blackburn), hopefully the gaffer is happy too.
"There are no easy games in this league and it was a tough test, teams come to frustrate us but we got the winner. The belief is high in the camp and we are going to keep going."
On his own return, Paul added: "It was great to be back out there, in front of the home fans, in a winning side.
"The fans have been terrific with me throughout, I've felt ready for the last couple of weeks, playing some reserve games to get my sharpness back and it is great to be amongst the lads once again."
