Chris Wilder was once again full of praise for his players, following another impressive away performance and victory.
Speaking after Billy Sharp's second-half brace saw off Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park, Wilder acknowledged his side had deservedly won the spoils in Lancashire.
The manager remarked: "It was a really good performance, we knew we'd have to play well to win here and we did.
"They've had a proud unbeaten record at home, stretching back 27 or 28 games, so they obviously do something right, so we had to be at it and deal with their threats, which I thought we did very well.
"Dack and Graham are outstanding players and a great combination in this league and I thought we defended well, the shape of the team was very good and in possession we always looked like we could score.
"It took us into the second-half to get in front but we'd have been bitterly disappointed to have not won the game having done so much right."
Wilder added: "This was a night for proper man performances, we had to turn up and we put in a proper performance individually and collectively.
"We're just ticking along nicely, the supporters enjoy watching us play, the players are enjoying playing and it's just a good time to be Blade.
"We have to enjoy it, we might have some more bumps in the road, but we're going nicely and we'll just keep giving everything for the football."
