Speaking ahead of Saturday's lunchtime clash, skipper Billy Sharp has his sights set on climbing above Leeds in the table.
And Sharp says spirits are high, after winning at Brentford on Tuesday night following a lacklustre performance at Rotherham three days earlier.
He remarked: "It's getting better as the week goes on, hopefully we finish it off with a win on Saturday and if we get the three points it'll have been a great week.
"We had to listen to the manager a lot of Saturday's result, I just wished we could have won that game 2-1, because we played so bad and I want us to win a game when we play badly.
"Tuesday night's performance was good and the result was even better, so we got ourselves out of a little hole and three points on Saturday will see us leapfrog Leeds."
Sharp added: "It's good to have a midweek game when you've performed so badly at the weekend, but that must be a warning for us not to let standards slip again, we got back on track on Tuesday.
"The manager made a decision to leave me on the bench at Brentford and fair play to him, it worked and we got the three points."
