Billy Sharp hopes United can replicate the two results they enjoyed against Leeds last season, starting on Saturday.

Looking ahead, the skipper remarked: "It always seems to be a good game, it's always a great atmosphere too, hopefully it is again on Saturday.

"We've got a job to do, it's another early kick-off, but we're in confident mood on the back of a good week's training."

Sharp added: "Three goals, six points, I'd take that again this season. It was one of our better performance at Leeds last season and at home we won again.

"Leeds always have the backing of their fans, both home and away, they are on a good run, they've got a lot of talented players, but there is no reason why we can't beat them.

"They started well last season, but they seem stronger and more organised this time around, the manager doesn't speak much English, but he's got them winning games."
