John Egan certainly knows what the Sheffield derby means to all those connected with United.
The Republic of Ireland international is looking forward to his first taste of the occasion, if selected, but he knows in advance exactly how much it means to the supporters.
Looking ahead, he remarked: "I'm really looking forward to it. We've had a good week on the training, the preparation has been good and we're ready to go now.
"Hopefully we will play to our maximum and get a positive result. The lads have spoken about the games last season the atmosphere is electric."
Egan added: "It's one of the biggest derbies in England, the place will be rocking, but once the whistle goes you have to focus on your normal game.
"I focus on myself and our next game, we don't really look at anyone else. We've worked on them this week, we're looking to bounce back from the Forest loss and what better game to do it in."
