Speaking ahead of Tuesday's trip to face Brentford at Griffin Park, Mark Duffy feels he is playing some of the best football of his career to date this season.
Looking ahead to facing the Bees, he remarked: "Brentford are very similar to us, they are a high pressing, high tempo kind of team. They like to play, so it makes from an entertaining game.
"I'm playing at the highest level I've played at in my career, previously in this division, I've been at teams struggling near the bottom.
"So to be playing consistently and competing at the top end of the Championship, I'd probably say this is the best time of my career."
The influential midfielder, who scored against Rotherham at the weekend, added: "It's nice to hear the fans saying nice things about you, but I'm just the link from the defence and midfield to the attack really.
"I try and get on the ball and connect the final third, it happens quite often, but on Saturday we didn't pass the ball well enough.
"I'll always try and get on the ball, take it under pressure in tight areas, to try and get us playing and dominating the opposition."
