The 2017/18 season isn't one Paul Coutts looks back on with great fondness, but Sunday 24th September was certainly a day not to forget.
In Billy Sharp's absence, the midfield skippered the side to victory at S6 and he was more than happy to talk about in the build-up Friday's first Sheffield derby of this campaign.
He remarked: "That day at Hillsborough was probably one of the highlights of my career to be honest.
"We went there as massive underdogs, so to go there produce such a performance and get that result was something great to be part of.
"It was a blur at the time, it happened so fast, but looking back now it was an unbelievable day and a great day for the fans."
Coutts added: "We've got to perform like it's just another game, but everyone knows it means more and it always has a different feel about it.
"Going into the international break, it would be fantastic to give the supporters the bragging rights for a couple of weeks before we play again.
"They were ecstatic with a draw at Bramall Lane in January, that shows how far we've come in a short space of time, but we'll be respectful of their threats, like we are to every team we face."
