Chris Wilder believes the Blades can improve on last season's 10th place finish in the Sky Bet Championship.
Speaking earlier this week, upon confirmation of a contract extension for himself and four of his backroom staff, Wilder commented:
"It was a touch draining towards the end of the season and frustrating too. We put ourselves in a great position, but the ending wasn't the one we'd have all loved.
"But the way the players went about their business at Bristol City showed how much they care and from a personal point of view the reaction from the travelling supporters was very humbling.
"I'm just glad now we can focus on looking ahead and being positive, as I try and do my job as manager to the best of my ability."
The Gaffer added: "I appreciate the owners support and backing and now my job, along with the staff and players is about putting a team out there that we can be proud of yet again.
"I want us to have another exciting season in the Championship and on the pitch, we're focused on trying to improve on last season.
"It's about fine margins. From box-to-box, from A to B, we're up there with the best, but it comes down to big moments and we have to find more at both ends of the field."
