Young goalkeeper Marcus Dewhurst has been named in the England squad for the forthcoming UEFA U17 European Championship.
The stopper, who has impressed for United's development age groups this term, linked up with the Young Lions at St George's Park earlier this week.
The group stage begins for England on Friday 4th May at the Proact Stadium, with Israel the opponents, before facing Italy at Walsall on Monday 7th May.
England's final group fixture will take place on Thursday 10th May, at Rotherham's New York Stadium, with Switzerland the opposition.
The knockout phase will begin on Sunday 13th May, with the final take place in Rotherham on Sunday 20th May, kick-off 7.15pm.
United's Academy Manager Travis Binnion remarked: "Marcus has progressed very well during his first season in full-time football.
"He has worked very hard with Matt Duke, our Academy goalkeeping coach and both deserve credit, for this fully deserved call-up.
"Experiencing tournament football will be fantastic for his development, especially with England looking to defend their title on home soil."
