Chris Wilder sees no reason why his side can't get the points required to propel the club into the end of season play-offs.

Speaking ahead of the Good Friday trip to Brentford, Wilder remarked: "This is how far we've moved the club on, we've got something to play for with eight games remaining back in the Championship.

"We've exceeded expectations and we're delighted about that, but we want to keep overachieving and that will mean us wanting to get in the play-offs.

"We're good enough, we've matched a lot of teams in this division and we're going down the home straight now."

The Gaffer added: "We're in the mix, we obviously need to get a couple of results better than those in front of us, but a lot of teams, included ourselves, have to play rivals.

"Whether you're at the top or bottom of the division, anything can happen and we just have to make sure we give ourselves the best possible opportunity, we've got nothing to lose."
