Enda Stevens says United need to make the most of home comforts this week.
The Blades host Burton Albion on Tuesday followed by Nottingham Forest on Saturday and Stevens acknowledges two positive results will be crucial to United's hopes of a top-six finish this term.
He remarked: "It's coming to the crunch part of the season and it's wins that we need and will make the difference.
"We're all focused and we're not shying away from the challenge. We're fit and we'll continue to give it a real go."
On the first of those two challenges, the wing-back remarked: "It feels like forever since we've played at home, hopefully with the crowd right behind us, we can get a decent result and send them home happy.
"Burton will have a game plan, but it's down to us to impose ourselves and if we do we'll have an opportunity."
