The designated game for Level Playing Field finally took place at the rearranged fixture against Burton Albion last week.
The Blades are proud to continue to work to support and include their disabled supporters no matter what the disability.
This designated game for Level Playing Field contributes towards United’s EFL Club Inclusion and Anti-Discrimination Code of Practice evidence.
On the evening, the following took place
- A pennant exchange between representatives from Sheffield United Disabled Supporters (SUDS) and disabled fans from Burton Albion
- A flag guard of honour performed by our wheelchair and other disabled supporters
- A football activity on the pitch at half-time involving those from PAN disability activity run by the Sheffield United Community Foundation
- The half-time annual pitch walk by Sheffield United disabled fans who were joined by disabled fans from Burton Albion
