Chris Wilder hopes to have a near fully fit squad to choose from for Tuesday's clash against Fulham at Craven Cottage.
But the Blades boss revealed there are a 'couple' of players that are doubtful for the trip to the capital.
Speaking prior to heading south, Wilder remarked: "We've got a couple of issues, which will see late fitness tests carried out.
"But the weekend off has given the likes of Brooks, Wilson and Holmes extra time to recover, so all three will travel. That was the bonus of us not playing really.
"Hopefully, we'll only have Paul Coutts missing, which for March is pretty good going and it means I have the job of picking the right team from a very strong group of players.
"I've said throughout, we've missed Brooksy who was flying at the time he got taken ill, so to have him back for the last 12 games is good, the same applies to having the likes of Wilson and Holmes fit too."
On Saturday's enforced postponement because of the adverse weather conditions that gripped the region last week, the United boss admitted he missed that buzz at 3pm on Saturday afternoon.
He added: "We wanted to play on Saturday and I was sitting at a game think we should be playing, but we weren't.
"The weather in the area has been pretty poor and we made a decision as a football club to postpone Saturday's game on Thursday.
"We now have to get the Burton game into the schedule quickly, but we trained over the weekend, including at the Lane on Sunday and we are looking forward to another cracking Championship game on Tuesday night."
