Chris Wilder is under no illusions about the challenge that will face his players at Craven Cottage on Tuesday night.
But the Blades boss is typically upbeat about his side's chance when they face a Fulham side unbeaten in the league in 2018.
He remarked: "Every game in the Championship is huge, you can't afford to have a day off and it's something I've spoken about all season.
"If we are going to get something from Tuesday's game, we're going to have do a lot of things well and in the right manner and hope Fulham are off their game.
"That's Championship football, everyone recognises how Fulham have progressed in recent weeks and months since we gave them a kickstart in November, when they turned us over at the Lane."
Wilder added: "Fulham have been knocking on the door to get out of the division for a few years now and have obviously got an outstanding group of players.
"The way they play, people will have seen enough of them to recognise they are an outstanding side, who were very unlucky in the play-offs last season, if they'd got to the final they would have been big favourites to go up.
"In most people's eyes, with the players they've got and managed to bring in, they are up there with Wolves."
