Lee Evans says the Blades will be all out to build on Tuesday's victory over Burton Albion, when Nottingham Forest provide the next challenge at the Lane at the weekend.
Reflecting on the midweek success and looking ahead, Evans commented: "We ground it out the other night, we weren't at our best, but points come first and performances second at this stage.
"Second-half we improved and controlled the game better, in the end, it was a good three points."
"We needed the win on Tuesday to keep in the hunt and if we can get the win on Saturday, the point at Ipswich will look an excellent one."
On his own contribution in the United engine room, the Wales international added: "I'm enjoying playing games at the moment.
"There is a lot of competition for places, so I know I have to perform well in every game to keep my place in the side."
