Chris Basham says the Blades remain firmly in the play-off hunt, despite failing to beat Brentford at Griffin Park.
United dominated much of the contest in the capital, but we forced to settle for a share of the spoils against Dean Smith's side, with Bees goalkeeper Daniel Bentley producing a number of fine saves.
Basham remarked: "We've created some really good chances and unfortunately we just couldn't hit the back of the net for a second time.
"We played to a game plan and got right amongst them, the goal we conceded was deflating and it is two points dropped, but we remain in the fight with seven games to go.
"Their goalkeeper pulled off some great saves, especially late on and the ball just wouldn't drop to us on the rebounds.
"Sharpy is beating himself up in the dressing room because he feels he should have scored from the crosses we put into the box.
On scoring, Basham added: "Flecky hit his initial effort well, it came to me and I just hit it and hoped for the best and many a time you see deflected efforts go in."
