Vice-presidents continue to support club efforts

Sheffield United is delighted to announce seven vice-presidents for the 2018/19 campaign.

Previous vice-presidents were appointed due to representation commitments by the club and not having SUFC directors currently based in Sheffield.

There are significant ambassadorial responsibilities representing the club at various events throughout the city, including the wider region, whilst also hosting away board directors for home fixtures.

The 'non-executive' role has proven invaluable to the club's board directors and senior management, assisting with sponsorship, off-the-field events and board representation. All of these individuals share a common passion, personal financial contribution to the club and dedication to seeing the Blades prosper both on and off-the-field.

In addition to supporting both the SteelPhalt Academy and our men's first team fixtures, SUFC Women will be playing in the FA Women's Championship next season so the vice-presidents will be working on attracting further income and attendance generation for these additional fixtures.

The vice-presidents appointed are as follows:

Graham Moore - senior VP
Martin Green
Martin Ross
Darren Baker
Tajinder Singh
Mike Blundell
Steve Naylor

Discussions regarding further appointments are continuing and the club hope to make an additional announcement prior to the start of the season.

Due to other work commitments, two vice-presidents are not returning next season - Glenn Day and Mark Ross. The club would like to thank both Glenn and Mark for their hard efforts and commitment throughout last season.
