Sheffield United Community Foundation is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and forward-thinking manager to oversee our Education Strand. The post-holder will provide leadership for the department in implementing its curriculum development objectives and ensuring its performance targets are achieved. The post holder will be directly responsible for a team of tutors delivering Foundations Football and Education Academy (Further Education), Foundation Degree in Community Football Coaching and Development (Higher Education) and Traineeship programmes.
About the role
The successful candidate will have a proven record of successful academic management in further education and a record of successful programme development that meets local needs in the sport and leisure sector. Experience of working in a sports-based community foundation/trust is desirable.
Applicants should have a sports-based degree level qualification, a PGCE and proven record of outstanding teaching, a secure understanding of quality assurance requirements and processes, and experience of implementing quality initiatives to support improvements to the student learning experience.
As an employed member of staff at Sheffield United Community Foundation you will be entitled to statutory holidays that include bank holidays as well as adopting a flexible working policy. You may be required to deliver and assess some qualifications, attend regular meetings, manage the performance of education staff and be part of the Foundations Leadership Team, reporting to trustees and partners where required.

Salary: £23,000-£27,000 (dependant on experience)
