Two of United's development squad have left the club on-loan, to continue their develop and gain first-team experience.
Harvey Gilmour, who featured in the second-half of last week's friendly at Stocksbridge, has joined Tranmere Rovers having impressed as a trialist against Liverpool.
The midfielder moves with immediate effect and will remain at Prenton Park until the 6th January.
Meanwhile, Callum Semple has joined Queen of the South, who are managed by former Blade Gary Naysmith.
The defender, who has now fully recovered from a serious knee injury, will ply his trade in the Scottish Championship until the 7th January.
