Leon Clarke will keep wearing his rain jacket for pre-season training - despite the sweltering heat of the Portuguese training camp.

The iFollow cameras grabbed last season's leading scorer for a chat following the first grass session on the continent, just after he had removed his jacket!

"Everyone laughs at me for having a wet jacket on, but I know what I'm doing," said Leon. "I've been doing this for 15 years, I like to get good sweat on so I enjoy wearing it, and it gives the lads a laugh so that's all good!"

"When I was at Wolves as a youngster I remember some of the older pros wearing the bin liners, those times have gone, but it is good to get a sweat on."

He added: "The last couple of years is the fittest I've felt, pre-season is never easy, you have to get your head down and graft. I feel good, it is going to be hard but the aim is to be gearing up for the first game of the season.

"It is difficult training in this heat, it makes it hard for the lads, but it is good to get away and work hard."
