United chief Chris Wilder is excited about the prospect of Tuesday night's friendly with Italian giants, Inter.
In United's only home pre-season encounter - Wilder will pit his wits against Luciano Spalletti as Inter arrive at S2 with a strong squad.
Wilder commented: "First of all, this is a fantastic, prestigious game and we are looking to getting as many as our supporters in as possible. Not only for Inter, but because of the situation with Tony Currie and the renaming of the South Stand.
"Hopefully we will get a healthy crowd, it is not every pre-season that Inter come to England, let alone Bramall Lane.
"Technically they'll have fantastic players on show and will keep the ball well. Pre-season is full of tests, Mansfield was on Saturday and so will Inter and everyone is looking forward to it."
Before the game, the new branding of the Tony Currie South Stand will be unveiled and Wilder has indicated that new record-signing John Egan will start the game.
