James Wilson was happy to mark his full debut for the Blades with the opening goal at Norwich City on Saturday.
Speaking having fired United in front in just the sixth minute at Carrow Road, the Manchester United loanee remarked: "It felt great to get the goal, it put us in the ascendency early in the game and it was the ideal start to my United career.
"It's obviously my first goal back at first-team level which is nice. I feel having played in the U23s at Manchester United a lot in the last few months that I'm find some good form and I'm not surprised to have started well."
The striker added: "We knew they'd be tired after going through 120 minutes and penalties at Chelsea on Wednesday and we pride ourselves on a positive start.
"The manager was very clear on what he wanted from us and we delivered on the day.
"To get an hour under my belt having come on off the bench for my debut was pleasing and it gave me a good taste of what the team is about.
"I'm excited about the rest of the season."
