Chris Wilder says the Blades will be going full tilt in the coming weeks, in a bid to stay in contention for a top six finish.
Speaking ahead of Tuesday's clash with Aston Villa, Wilder remarked: "We're readying ourselves to face three powerhouse clubs, three massive heavyweights in this division and all are expected to get promoted this season.
"These are big games, wins are the name of the game for these clubs in the coming weeks and our approach is all out to win the game too.
"It's brilliant for everyone this, we happy to be involved as staff and players, but more importantly for the fans these are proper games and we're ready for the final 17 matches of what could be a very exciting end to season."
Wilder added: "To host Aston Villa, to travel to the runaway leaders and to have a Yorkshire derby at the Lane will all be fantastic occasions and we will give everything for the football club.
"If we want to be in the mix, then we've got to do well in the next dozen games, we've got to play well and pick up points to stay there or thereabouts ahead of the run-in."
