Richard Stearman believes the Blades were full value for the first point of 2018, which was earnt at Derby County on Monday.
Speaking following the stalemate at the iPro stadium, the experienced defender remarked: "Our confidence has never dropped despite not picking up the points our performances have perhaps deserved.
"A draw was the least our performance deserved. We're disappointed to have gifted them the first goal having dominated before that, it gave them a chance to hold on to something.
"But we created chances and limited them to next to nothing, Simon Moore was a virtual spectator for the whole game really."
Stearman added: "It's wide open at the top, teams have been in and around second and it's a valuable point for us as we look to stay in contention."
