Chris Wilder is looking forward to his first steel city derby as manager at Bramall Lane.
And the United boss is backing his players to deliver on the big stage yet again.
Looking ahead, he remarked: "I've only experienced one as a manager, but I've sat different places at the Lane and I've been down the road too as a fan too.
"You experience it, there is anticipation, there are butterflies in your stomach and an excitement too, which is why you're in the game really.
"Whether you're a supporter, a player or a manager it's great. It might not go our way on Friday night, we've got a great opportunity to make another lasting memory hear."
Wilder added: "Our supporters can't wait, our players can't wait and myself and my staff can't wait, I'm not sure if the opposition can say the same.
"I had never thought what it would be like to be in the dugout in one of these games, but it was a magical experience that will live long into the memory what happened at Hillsborough."
