Chris Wilder is delighted with the transfer business that the club has managed to concluded prior to Friday's steel city derby at Bramall Lane.
Speaking for the first since the arrivals of Ryan Leonard, Lee Evans and James Wilson, the manager admitted he is pleased to have ticked off the majority of his January shopping list.
He remarked: "I'm delighted with our business this week. I'm delighted with the three players we've managed to bring in and their attitudes have been first-class.
"I'm happy to have signed three hungry, young players who want to play and we've managed to maximise what we've had available to work with."
The boss added: "It's was important we added to the squad and we needed to strengthen in the right areas. We feel we've done that and all three players add competition and depth to the ranks.
"We've got the ability to do one more, we feel we're light in one area and there might be some going out too.
"We wanted to freshen the group and lift it and bringing three players in hasn't done morale any harm."
