Chris Wilder acknowledged his side had been beaten by a team destined for the Premier League, following Saturday's loss against Wolves at Molineux.

The hosts were simply unstoppable and the Blades boss remarked: "We were beaten by the better side no doubt about it, the quality of the first goal set a marker for the evening.

"We've got no complaints at all, they're a quality team who have done that to others, not just us.

"We stuck in there, but they had to much for us and I take my hat off to them and what they've got.

"They've got some excellent players, they've recruited like they have and know exactly where they're going."

Despite the defeat though, Wilder remained bullish, adding: "People thought this would happen to us every three or four games, it's taken until 3rd February for us to be beaten in that manner, so my players deserve some credit really.

"Our heads didn't drop because if we had, it would have been five or six. But when you are playing against that quality it is always going to be difficult, very difficult."
