Mark Duffy says United's sights are firmly set on a top-six finish in the Sky Bet Championship.

Speaking ahead of Friday's televised fixture at Hull City, the experienced operator insists the Blades have everything to gain.

He remarked: "We're striving to get in those play-offs, that's the feeling throughout the camp.

"We were disappointed a few weeks ago with our league position, but when you spin it round and takes the positive, you see we're still in a fantastic position.

"We're chasing now and it's a different pressure for us compared to those above.

"We know how good we are, we're in there on merit. We'll continue to be positive like we always are, we're always looking to win the next game."

Duffy added: "I've heard the Gaffer talking about getting the plaudits when we weren't picking up the results and that's the most frustrating thing in football.

"It's going to boil down to winning games ugly and winning when you do produce good performances.

"But it's about winning, picking those three points up and moving on, nobody will care about how we win if we end up in the top six."
